I'm here and I'm reading and I'm learning how important it is to speak a light into the darkness. Thank you for being a match for the rest of us to light our candle on. Keep on.
-Skill Acquisition: Writing a lot speeds up the learning process; as author Ray Bradbury suggested, you cannot write 52 bad short stories in a row, meaning high volume inevitably leads to higher quality over time.
-Increased "Surface Area" for Success: A larger portfolio of work increases the statistical likelihood that one of your pieces will resonate, go viral, or become a bestseller.
-Overcoming Writer's Block: A consistent, daily habit minimizes the reliance on inspiration and willpower, training the brain to produce regardless of mood.
-"Show Up" Factor: In fields like digital content, consistently appearing in your audience's feeds keeps you relevant and prevents you from being forgotten!!
Im am so blessed having discovered you, Iron Quill. It has been only a few months but your articles are most thought provoking and eye opening. Thank you for being here for us. Whether the Bible studies or analyzing the political environment you are very much appreciated.
The truth in your c article I cringe at the most is "silence is seen as maturity" ...so true, yet silence often masks ignorance and maybe that's a good thing. So many speaking today decry their ignorance in group think and lead us down this path we're on. Silence offers no solution. Maybe the silent are better left alone because they have nothing to offer nor do they care to understand. My opinion.
Silence can mask ignorance. So can constant noise. The difference is whether silence is used to learn or to avoid. What passes for “speaking up” today is often just repetition without understanding.

A lot of wisdom, experience and maturity in what you write. I keep wondering who you could be. Keep writing, I keep reading.

So great you continued to write, Iron Quill!
There are so many Substackers that I'd like to contribute to, but I'd be broke.

Keep writing!
